Everything on Prescriptions.plus — medication guides, workers' comp guides, answers, directories and marketing material — is general information for education. It is not medical, pharmacy, legal, insurance or financial advice, and it doesn't create a doctor–patient, pharmacist–patient or attorney–client relationship.
Always talk to your own doctor or pharmacist about your health and your medicines, and to a licensed attorney or your claims administrator about your claim. Don't start, stop or change a medication because of something you read here.
What we are not
- Not a pharmacy. We don't fill, dispense, sell or ship prescriptions or devices. We list pharmacies, and with your consent we pass a delivery request to a licensed partner pharmacy, which is responsible for everything about the prescription.
- Not a law firm. We don't give legal advice or represent anyone. Attorneys listed here are independent.
- Not a medical provider. Doctors and clinics listed here are independent and responsible for their own care.
- Not an insurer or claims administrator. We don't decide, pay or manage workers' comp claims or benefits.
Emergencies
Prescriptions.plus is not an emergency service and requests aren't monitored around the clock. For a medical emergency call 911. For a possible poisoning or overdose call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. In a mental-health crisis call or text 988.
Sponsored listings
Professionals pay monthly marketing fees for listings and placement. Anything paid for is labeled Sponsored. For pharmacies: every pharmacy can appear for free with its name and address; a claimed listing (a paid plan) can show a phone number, website, images, offers and coupons and ranks in the top five for its ZIP code; and one Featured pharmacy per ZIP code holds the #1 spot. Placement is advertising — it is not a recommendation, a review of quality, or a statement that a professional is right for you.
Directory information comes from public sources (such as the NPPES NPI Registry) and from the professionals themselves. It can be out of date — confirm hours, services, licensing and insurance directly.
