Prescriptions.plus

Your questions, answered

+What is Prescriptions.plus?

Prescriptions.plus is an educational portal for people injured at work and the professionals who help them. It explains medications, workers' comp prescriptions, home delivery and medical supplies, and lists attorneys, doctors and pharmacies. It is not a pharmacy, law firm, medical provider, insurer or claims administrator.

+Is Prescriptions.plus a pharmacy?

No. Prescriptions.plus does not fill, dispense, sell or ship medication. It lists pharmacies and can pass a consented delivery request to a licensed partner pharmacy, which handles everything about the prescription.

+Does Prescriptions.plus give medical or legal advice?

No. Everything here is for education only. For medical questions talk to your doctor or pharmacist; for questions about a claim talk to a workers' comp attorney or your claim adjuster. In an emergency call 911.

+What does "Sponsored" mean on Prescriptions.plus?

Sponsored marks a paid placement — for example a pharmacy that pays to show its phone number and rank in the top five for its ZIP code, or the one Featured pharmacy per ZIP code. Sponsored is advertising, not a recommendation.

+How does Prescriptions.plus make money?

Professionals — attorneys, doctors, pharmacies and program partners — pay monthly marketing fees for listings and placement. Prescriptions.plus never bills for care, medication or devices, and it is free for patients and injured workers.

+Is Prescriptions.plus free to use?

Yes. Reading the guides, searching the directories and sending a request are free for patients and injured workers. Professionals pay monthly marketing fees for listings and placement.

+What happens when I send a request?

Your request goes only to the recipients described next to the form (for example a licensed partner pharmacy, or an attorney or doctor in your area) and to the Prescriptions.plus team, and only with your consent. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

+Do you use advertising trackers?

No. Prescriptions.plus does not use third-party advertising pixels or trackers. We collect only what a request needs. See our privacy page for details.

+Can my prescriptions be delivered to my home?

Often, yes. Many pharmacies deliver locally or mail prescriptions. On Prescriptions.plus you can request home delivery and a licensed partner pharmacy can contact you about options in your area. Some medications have legal limits on delivery.

+How do I find a pharmacy near me?

Use the Prescriptions.plus pharmacy finder: enter your ZIP code to see pharmacies in that ZIP and nearby ZIP codes on a list and a map, or browse the directory by state and city.

+Why don't all pharmacy listings show a phone number?

Every pharmacy is listed free with its name and address. Pharmacies that claim their listing can show their phone, website, photos, offers and coupons; those listings are labeled Sponsored.

+Does workers' comp pay for prescriptions?

In general, workers' compensation covers medically necessary prescriptions for an accepted work injury, but the rules — which drugs, which pharmacies, and what approval is needed — vary by state and by claim. Your claim adjuster or a workers' comp attorney can tell you what applies to you.

+I'm a professional. How do I join?

Attorneys, doctors, clinics and pharmacies can see plans and join from the For attorneys, For doctors & clinics and For pharmacies pages. Practices interested in home delivery start with the mail-order program.

+Who do I contact about a listing or my data?

Use the request form on the privacy page to correct a listing, ask what we hold about you, or have your data deleted.

Prescriptions.plus is an educational portal. We are not a pharmacy, law firm, medical provider, insurer or claims administrator, and nothing here is medical or legal advice. Educational purposes only. Medical emergency? Call 911.
