Share codes between professionals

Share your coupon code

Every doctor and clinic subscribed to prescriptions.plus receives a personal share code. When a workers’ comp attorney joins using your code, the site gives that firm a discount on its monthly marketing fee. Attorneys have codes too, so a doctor who joins with an attorney’s code receives the same kind of courtesy.

Where to find your code

Your share code appears in your provider dashboard as soon as your subscription is active. It is a short code linked to your practice profile, and it does not expire while your subscription remains active.

You can print it on a business card, include it in an email signature for professional contacts or mention it in conversation with attorneys you already know. There is no requirement to share it, and not sharing it has no effect on your listing.

What the attorney receives

An attorney who enters your code at /join receives a discount on the firm’s monthly marketing fee. The site sets the discount amount and duration and shows them at checkout. Because the site may adjust the offer over time, the join page is always the source of the current figure.

The discount comes from the site and applies only to the site’s own marketing fee. It is never paid by you, and you never pay or receive anything from the attorney.

What you receive in return

Codes work in both directions. If your practice joined using an attorney’s code, you received a discount on your own monthly fee on the same basis. Sharing your code is simply a way for professionals who already know each other to mention the site.

Your code is about subscriptions, not patients. It is never attached to a patient, a request, a referral or a case, and it does not change how any listing is shown to injured workers.

  • One code per practice, shown in your dashboard
  • Redeemed by attorneys at /join during sign-up
  • Discount set by the site and shown before checkout
  • No payments between professionals, ever

Staying on the right side of the rules

Health care professionals are rightly careful about anything that looks like payment for referrals. The share-code discount is designed to avoid that: it is a fixed courtesy from the site on its own marketing fee, unrelated to any patient, client or volume of business.

Rules vary by state and by profession. If you are unsure whether sharing a code is appropriate for your practice, check with your compliance advisor or your state’s rules first. Nothing here is legal advice.

Other ways to help colleagues

Beyond codes, many providers share the free educational guides with patients and fellow clinicians, such as /injured-at-work and /prescription-delivery. Prescribers often tell colleagues about the provider mail-order pharmacy program at /mail-order-pharmacy, the most popular provider offer on the site.

Colleagues looking for NPI-verified provider tools can also be pointed to Provider Back Office at https://providerbackoffice.com.

Frequently asked questions

How much discount does my code give?+

The site sets the discount and shows it at checkout on /join. The amount may change over time for new sign-ups.

No. No money passes between professionals. The discount is applied by the site to the attorney’s own marketing fee.

Can I share my code with other doctors?+

Share codes are designed for professional sign-ups across the site. The join page shows how a code applies to each type of subscriber.

Does sharing my code improve my listing?+
