There's a particular kind of loneliness that comes with a work injury. Coworkers move on, friends don't quite understand, and you can spend a lot of time alone with your thoughts. Peer Crew is a community of people going through the same thing, and of people a little further down the road who remember exactly how it felt.
Why peers matter
Professionals give you expertise. Peers give you something different: "me too." Hearing someone describe the same frustration, the same small victory or the same fear can make yours feel lighter. Peer Crew is built around that.
What Peer Crew includes
- Live community sessions led by the MOVE team.
- Monthly challenges sized for every level: a water streak, a gratitude week, a seated-movement challenge cleared by your doctor.
- Celebrations for milestones: first class, first week back, first finish line of any kind.
- On-demand replays and a member space inside the Beyond Limits Bootcamp community.
Inside the Beyond Limits community
Beyond Limits Bootcamp is Krystalore's live and on-demand fitness community, with coaching and a home-screen app. Peer Crew members get a dedicated space within it, so the people cheering you on understand that progress after an injury looks different, and that it counts.
Community guidelines
- Encourage, don't advise. Share what worked for you, but medical and legal questions go to your doctor and attorney.
- Keep it private. What's shared in the crew stays in the crew.
- No claim details, settlement talk or employer names in group spaces.
- Every pace is welcome. Celebrate effort, not comparison.
From one finish line to the next
Krystalore went from a wheelchair to 28 marathons and a 50-mile race. For the 50-miler she trained for six months with an Olympic athlete's coach by her side, which is why coaching, daily check-ins, community and connection are part of MOVE. Peer Crew is where your team comes from.
Your first visit
You don't need to introduce yourself or share your story on day one. Most people start by listening, joining a challenge, or cheering someone else on. When you're ready, a short introduction — your first name, roughly when you were hurt, and one thing you're working on — is plenty.
What a typical month looks like
- Weekly live community sessions with the MOVE team.
- One community challenge, with options for every level and clearance.
- A monthly celebration call for milestones of every size.
- Replays and conversation threads for the days you can't join live.
Celebrating differently
In Peer Crew, a win might be a full night's sleep, walking to the mailbox, a good conversation with your kids or a first shift back. We celebrate them all, because after an injury, the small wins are the big ones.
Peer community and coaching only, not medical or legal advice. Movement challenges are optional and require your physician's clearance. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time. In an emergency, call 911.
