Some topics deserve a focused session of their own. MOVE Workshops are 60- to 90-minute live sessions (with replays) on the skills injured workers and families ask about most. Each one ends with a worksheet and one action to take that week.
Emotional Intelligence for Recovery
Learn to recognise your emotions early, name them precisely, and respond rather than react, especially on high-pain or high-stress days. Drawn from Krystalore's Emotional Mastery training.
Boundaries After Injury
How to say no, ask for help, and protect your energy with family, friends, coworkers and yourself. Includes scripts for the conversations people find hardest.
Communication at Home
A practical session for couples and families: daily check-ins, "I notice / I feel / I need", and how to repair after an argument. A great companion to Home Front.
Habit Reset
When routines have fallen apart, start small. You'll pick one keystone habit, design the easiest possible version, and set up a tracker and reminder (including HealthRing vibration reminders, if you have one).
Vision Reset (Beyond the Vision)
Krystalore's quarterly vision workshop, adapted for recovery: what do you want the next 90 days to feel like, and what's one step toward it? Participants leave with a vision board or written plan.
Who leads them
Workshops are led by Krystalore Crews and the MOVE coaching team. Krystalore is a 22-year Air Force veteran, certified somatic coach and doctoral student in Somatic Psychology. As a leadership instructor she developed Pentagon curriculum on emotional intelligence, effective communication, generations and resilience, including six computer-based trainings that more than 180,000 uniformed members complete every year. Workshops are coaching and education, not therapy.
Formats
- Live online, with replays on demand.
- In person at retreats and partner locations.
- Private workshops for employer groups and clinics (see the professionals page).
How a workshop runs
- A short welcome and a breath to arrive.
- Teaching in plain language, with real examples from recovery.
- Practice in pairs or small groups (camera and microphone optional online).
- A worksheet you complete during the session.
- One action to take this week, and a check-in at your next MOVE session.
Bringing it home
Each workshop comes with a one-page summary you can share with your partner, family or care team. Many participants bring their worksheet to a 1:1 coaching session to turn the ideas into a plan that fits their week.
Choosing your first workshop
Not sure where to start? If home has been tense, start with Communication at Home. If you feel stretched thin by everyone's requests, try Boundaries After Injury. If you've lost your routines, Habit Reset is the gentlest entry point. If you're ready to look ahead, Vision Reset helps you set the next 90 days. Your MOVE coach can help you choose, and you can take them in any order.
Coaching and education only, not therapy or medical advice. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time. In an emergency, call 911.
